Cartier: Five Projects, One Platform, Global Consistency
Client Showcase

Cartier x Axis4: Turning Consistency into Global Infrastructure
Luxury retail has a consistency problem—and it gets harder with every new market.
For a maison like Cartier, the brand experience must feel identical whether a client steps into a boutique in Tokyo, Paris, or New York. Every surface, every interaction, every layer of storytelling has to meet the same exacting standard. That’s manageable with a single flagship. It becomes exponentially more complex across 22 countries.
Cartier turned to Axis4 not for a one-off installation, but for a platform: a way to unify five distinct in-store experiences under one centralized system.
Five projects. One platform.
Axis4’s Crystal XM platform powers a connected ecosystem of Cartier experiences:
- NOA Interactive Product Display – Deployed across 22 countries, NOA showcases Cartier creations through a unified, interactive experience. Crystal XM ensures every location runs the same brand-approved content, with centralized management and precise scheduling.
- Mobile Bridal Consultation Tool – A guided selling application used directly on the boutique floor, enabling Cartier advisors to tailor recommendations in real time. The result: an approximately 30% lift in bridal sales, driven by a more informed, more immersive consultation.
- Permanent Bridal LCD Installation – A self-guided exploration zone where clients can discover collections, stories, and craftsmanship at their own pace, while Crystal XM keeps content fresh, on-brand, and synchronized globally.
- Transparent Digital Vitrines – First-of-their-kind vitrines that layer dynamic digital storytelling over physical pieces, merging product, narrative, and light into a single, elevated moment.
- VR Boutique in Unreal Engine 5 – A virtual Cartier environment that extends the in-store narrative beyond physical walls, allowing each boutique operator to step into a fully realized boutique experience from anywhere.
Each project differs in format and function. What connects them is Crystal XM: one platform orchestrating content, scheduling, and updates across every touchpoint, in every market, from a single dashboard.
Control at global scale
For Cartier, this is not about screens. It is about control.
Crystal XM gives Cartier the confidence that a campaign launching in Paris on Tuesday morning is live in every participating boutique worldwide by Tuesday afternoon:
- Zero local variation
- Zero manual intervention
- Zero compromise on brand standards
When a luxury maison entrusts five different in-store experiences across 22 countries to a single partner, the platform stops being a tool.
It becomes infrastructure.
